【摘要】:Thislaboratorytestmethodcanbeusedtoquicklydetermineextremepressurepropertiesoflubricatingoilsatselectedtemperaturesspecifiedforuseinapplicationswherenotonlyhigh-speedvibrationalorstart-stopmotionsarepresentwithhighHertzianpointcontact.Thistestmethodhasfoundwideapplicationinqualifyinglubricatingoilsusedinconstantvelocityjointsoffront-wheel-driveautomobiles,gear-hydrauliccircuit,rearaxles,gearsandenginecomponents.Usersofthistestmethodshoulddeterminewhetherresultscorrelatewithfieldperformanceorotherapplications.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedurefordeterminingextremepressurepropertiesoflubricatingoilsforhydraulics,gearsandenginesunderhigh-frequencylinear-oscillationmotionusingtheSRVtestmachine.Note18212;ThistestmethodwasdevelopedandtheinternationalroundrobintestswerejointlyperformedwiththeDIN51834workinggroup.Thisprocedureisbasedonthe2005revisionofTestMethodD5706forgreasesanddiffersregardingthestrokelengthandthecleaningsolvent.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
