【摘要】:ThispracticeprovidesasimplemeansofclassifyingfailuremodesforadhesivelybondedFRPjoints.Eachfailuremodeclassificationisbasedsolelyonavisualobservationofthefailuresurfacewithouttheaidofamicroscopeorothermeanstomagnifythesurface.Exceptfortheline-drawingrepresentationsgiven,thispracticedoesnotcontaindescriptionsoffailuremodespossiblewhenusingadhesionpromoters.However,similaranalogiestothefailuremodesdescribedhereincanbemade.Thispracticedoesnotaddresstheacceptabilityofanyspecificfailuremode.1.1Thispracticecoversthemethodofclassifying,identifying,andcharacterizingthefailuremodesinadhesivelybondedfiber-reinforced-plastic(FRP)joints.TheFRPusedindevelopingthispracticeconsistsofglassfibersinathermoset-polyester-resinmatrix,commonlyreferredtoassheet-moldingcompound,orSMC.1.2Oneobjectiveofthispracticeistopresentcomprehensivedefinitionsofpossiblefailuremodestoserveasaguideforcontracts,drawings,productspecifications,andproductperformance.Note1-Figures2through11referredtointhepracticearecontainedintheASTMadjunct,ColorPhotographsofFailureModes.Fig.2-Side-bySideComparisonofFailureModesFig.3-AdhesiveFailureFig.4-CohesiveFailureFig.5-Thin-LayerCohesiveFailureFig.6-Fiber-TearFailureFig.7-Light-Fiber-TearFailureFig.8-Stock-BreakFailureFig.9-MixedFailure-40%Fiber-TearFailure,60%Light-Fiber-TearFiberFig.10-MixedFailure-32%AdhesiveFailure,68%Fiber-TearFailureFig.11-MixedFailure-20%AdhesiveFailure,60%Light-Fiber-TearFailure,20%Fiber-TearFailureNote2-Thispracticemaybeusedtodescribethefailuremodesgeneratedfromtesting,usingproceduressuchasTestMethodsD3163,D3164,D3165,D3807,D5041,D5868,andSAEJ1525.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThispartofEN474dealswithallsignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventsrelevanttopipelayersasdefinedinENISO6165-2006,whentheyareusedasintendedandunderconditionsofmisusewhicharereasonablyforeseeablebythemanufacturer(seeClause4).TherequirementsofthispartarecomplementarytothecommonrequirementsformulatedinEN474-1-2006.ThispartdoesnotrepeattherequirementsfromEN474-1-2006,butaddsorreplacestherequirementsforapplicationforpipelayers.Thispartspecifiestheappropriatetechnicalmeasurestoeliminateorreducerisksarisingfromthesignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventsduringcommissioning,operationandmaintenanceofpipelayers.Thispartspecifiesadditionalrequirementsforrearmountedwinches.Pipelayerswithrotatingupperstructureareexcludedfromthescopeofthisdocument.However,specificrequirementsareunderdevelopment.ThisEuropeanStandardisnotapplicabletopipelayersmanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationofthisEuropeanStandardbyCEN.
