【摘要】:1.1Theviscosity-temperaturechartcoveredbythisstandardisaconvenientmeansofplottingdataforestimatingtheviscosityofasphaltsatanytemperaturewithinalimitedrange.Conversely,thechartmaybeusedtoascertainthetemperatureatwhichadesiredviscosityisattained.1.2Thechartissuitablefororiginalasphaltcementsandforasphaltsrecoveredfromlaboratoryagingtestsorextractedfrompavements.1.3Thechartisbasedonaviscosity-temperaturerelationshipthatcanbeplottedusinganyappropriatesetofunits.Forconvenience,chartsbasedonbothconventionalandSIunitsareprovided.1.4Therangeofthechartissufficientforroofingasphalts.1.5Therangeofthechartissufficientforliquidasphalts(bitumens)whoseviscosityexceeds0.1poise(10centipoise).
