【摘要】:Thistestmethodevaluatesthecompatibilityoflubricatinggreasesandfluidswithcouponscutfromstandardelastomersheets(PracticeD3182)or,optionally,fromSAESpecificationAMS3217/2B(NBR-L)andAMS3217/3A(CR)sheets.CompatibilityisevaluatedbydeterminingthechangesinvolumeandDurometerAhardnessthatoccurwhenelastomercouponsaretotallyimmersedinalubricantsamplefor70hateither100or150?Corasrequiredbythelubricantspecification.Somelubricantspecificationsmayrequiredifferenttestconditions,suchaslongerdurationsorlowerorhighertemperatures.Insuchinstances,therepeatabilityandreproducibilityvaluesstatedinSection12donotapply,andtheuserandsuppliershouldagreeonacceptablelimitsofprecision.Note1-Thescopeofthistestmethodnowincludestheevaluationoftheelastomercompatibilityofbothlubricatingfluidsandgreases.TestingoffluidswasnotincludedinTestMethodD4289-95andearlierversions.Thistestmethodcanalsobeusedasaguidetoevaluatethecompatibilityofgreaseswithrubberproductsnotinstandardsheetform(PracticeD3183).ThevaluesstatedinSIandDurometerAunitsshallberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,see8.4-8.6.
