【摘要】:Thistestmethodwasdevelopedtoevaluatetheviscosityincreaseandsootconcentration(loading)performanceofengineoilsinturbochargedandintercooledfour-cycledieselenginesequippedwithEGR.Obtainresultsfromusedoilanalysis.Thetestmethodmaybeusedforengineoilspecificationacceptancewhenalldetailsoftheprocedurearefollowed.1.1Thistestmethodcoversanenginetestprocedureforevaluatingdieselengineoilsforperformancecharacteristicsinadieselengineequippedwithexhaustgasrecirculation,includingviscosityincreaseandsootconcentrations(loading).ThistestmethodiscommonlyreferredtoastheMackT-11.1.1.1Thistestmethodalsoprovidestheprocedureforrunninganabbreviatedlengthtest,whichiscommonlyreferredtoastheT-11A.TheproceduresfortheT-11AareidenticaltotheT-11withtheexceptionoftheitemsspecificallylistedinAnnexA8.Additionally,theproceduremodificationslistedinAnnexA8refertothecorrespondingsectionoftheT-11procedure.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasthestandard.Withinthetestmethod,theinch-poundunitsareshowninparentheseswhencombinedwithSIunits.TheonlyexceptioniswherethereisnodirectSIequivalentsuchasscrewthreads,nationalpipethreads/diameters,andtubingsizes.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SeeAnnexA6forspecificsafetyhazards.
